Within the French Procurement Agency (DGA), Lieutenant-Colonel Pascal Cantot was
program manager of the various simulations projects dedicated to the training of
the French Army. Formerly, while he was in charge of the simulation and system engineering
technical domain, he led many major technical projects that improved the French capabilities
in simulation for Defense.
He graduated as a military system engineer from ENSIETA (Brest) and held a master
degree in computer sciences from ENSICA (Toulouse). He had held several positions

Armed Forces, DGA and Defense Industry on Simulation issues.
He also taught M&S at graduate and post-graduate level and co-authored a book published
in 2009, "Simulation et modélisation des systèmes de systèmes" (éd. Hermès-Lavoisier).
An English version of this book "Simulation and modeling of systems of systems”,
was published by Wiley in 2010".
For his action in Defense, he was awarded in 2011 the medal of the "Ordre national
