Subscriptions & Applications
For Individual Memberships, please tap or click “Join Here” to access the member’s portal and set-up your subscription.
For security and safety, all individual applications are subject to approval and this may take up to 72 hours.
Once approved, you will be notified and be able to access the portal.
Industry Individual
Self-employed or individuals of an organisation who are not ETSA corporate members may apply if they have an active role in the MS&T industry - supplying training, education and simulation products and services for profit.
Contractors working within the public sector are regarded as industry employees and can apply for industry membership.
There are two options for Industry Individuals:
- Annual membership for £60 (inc. VAT)
- LIFETIME membership for £99 (inc VAT)* – introductory offer ends 6/7/2025
Public Sector
Government or Defence personnel, currently serving military and other public sector employees (ie transport, medical, utilities, police, emergency planners etc) who use or purchase MS&T and are not directly selling training, education and simulation products and services for profit.
Associate, Academic Organisation or Student
MS&T Media, Associations and Event Organisers.
Schools, colleges, academies or universities organisations, students or interns.
There are two options for Public Sector, Associate and Academia employees:
- Annual membership – free
- Or voluntarily contribute a one-off donation of £10 towards the association’s running costs
Public Sector, Associate and Academia employees can benefit from these memberships while registered with a work email address.
Corporate Memberships
Companies, or business units of large companies, that supply training, education and simulation products and services for profit. All personnel within these organisations can access the ETSA Portal and newsletters. The subscription is based on annual turnover.
For Corporate Memberships, please email the team to arrange for invoicing.
The annual renewal window is in February.
After this time, organisations joining for their first year will be calculated pro rata.
We can also assist in formulating the business case that may be required, and understand that purchase orders may be applicable.
Once your membership has been arranged, your employees will be invited to join and access the portal.

Justification for Business Cases
- Discounted industry tickets to DSET.
- ETSA Pavilion at DSET offers SME exhibition space at the same price as an individual ticket.
- Free admission for military and government employees to the Analysis Modelling and Simulation (AMS) course hosted at DSET.
- Industry ETSA members could also attend the 5-day AMS intensive course for a significantly reduced price.
- ETSA Zone at I/ITSEC – discounted expo pods on the Ruddy Nice International Pavilion, ideal for SMEs and consultants.
- Access to The Studio, Ruddy Nice’s new facility in Salisbury dedicated to Sim, Serious Games, Wargaming, and eSports.
- The space can be used for hot desking, room hire, training, and capability days
Future Plan for the Community
IMPORTANT NOTES:
*LIFETIME memberships will remain active whilst ETSA CIC is operating. Should ETSA CIC cease operating, all LIFETIME memberships will be voided. The duration of an individual’s LIFETIME membership is at the discretion of the ETSA board and may be terminated at any time.
